Jamison Farm Takes Part in
Citymeals Day in New York City

June 2, 2003

Jamison Farm lamb was featured at the 18th ANNUAL GREAT AMERICAN CHEFS' TRIBUTE TO JAMES BEARD, on Monday, June 2, 2003, at The Gardens, Esplanades and Restaurants of Rockefeller Plaza.

More than 1,200 paid $375 each to sample a strolling feast featuring more than 30 of the nation's top chefs. Jamison lamb is being prepared by Chef Ken Vedrinski of Woodlands Inn, Summerville, S.C.

This local New York tradition benefits Citymeals-on-Wheels, a weekday meal delivery program for the homebound elderly in New York City. It was founded in 1981 by New York Magazine restaurant critic Gael Greene and American chef/icon James Beard. Last year, Citymeals-on-Wheels served 2 million meals.
