French Culinary Institute, New York City
Jean–Louis Palladin Foundation presents:
John Jamison, Owner of Jamison Farm in Latrobe, Pa.
The Jean-Louis Palladin Foundation
celebrates the spirit of Chef Jean-Louis Palladin and is a memorial to
his career of uncompromising determination to seek out and use the best
ingredients, mentor talent wherever he found it, and encourage creativity
among chefs. As Executive Chef at The Watergate Hotel in Washington,
D.C., he created close relationships with many chefs, farmers and local
food artisans in America. John and Sukey Jamison of Jamison Farm had
the pleasure of collaborating with Chef Jean-Louis on how they raised
their 5,000 lambs per year on a picturesque 210-acre farm. Their 100%
natural diet and lifestyle yield meat that is lean, firm, tender, delicate
and pink, free of hormones, antibiotics, herbicides and insecticides. Join
John Jamison as he provides a presentation on his experiences and relationship
with the late, great Chef Jean-Louis Palladin and learn more about the
lambs he raises on his farm.
